Center For Aromatherapy Control Issues Nationwide Ban On All Nonessential Oils

Rosa Bogues, acting director of the Center for Aromatherapy Control, announced a nationwide ban on all nonessential oils, effective immediately. “We are in the midst of an unprecedented health crisis,” Bogues announced in a Monday morning press briefing. “Desperate times call for desperate measures.“⁣⁣

The new policy detailed that some oils, such as tea tree, lavender, chamomile and argon, are necessities for healthy skin, an unclouded consciousness and immunity to all airborne pathogens. All others, including eucalyptus, peppermint, bergamot and jasmine do not directly help combat the pandemic and are thus banned.⁣⁣

The Scallion reached out to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for comment and received a brief written statement from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s office. The statement read, “We are unaffiliated with, nor have we ever heard of the Center for Aromatherapy Control. Frankly, if it gets you to stay at home, use whichever oils you want.“
