First-Time Snowboarder Gonna Wear GoPro Just In Case He Does Something Sick

Mount Hood has seen heavy snowfall this winter, and shredders of all levels have not let the pandemic stop them from getting mad pitted. One young gnarling, 23-year-old Kyle Dobrowski, felt that he absolutely needed to bring a GoPro for his first time on the slopes of Mt. Hood Meadows ski resort. ⁣⁣⁣

“I watched a Red Bull video on Youtube last night where the guy made sick snowboard tricks look easy steezey,” said Dobrowski. “I’m not expecting to pull off a 720 on my first day, but how hard could a backflip really be?“⁣

Our chief skiteorologist Sigfried Beauregard III interviewed Meadows patroller Clara Mendelo who monitored Dobrowski’s first day on the slopes. “K-Dubs came to the mountain thinking that he was ready to bomb Heather Canyon. We were like, ‘whoa dude, you gotta chill!’ so we sent him over to Buttercup where he still immediately had a yard sale. We encourage the footage though. I for one love seeing that sweet shaky amateur camera action, and what if he ended up doing something super sick? He wouldn’t want to miss out on impressing the bunnies and making his bros jelly. Worst case, he can still wind up on Jerry of the Day.”⁣⁣

Mendelo appeared unconcerned by the arrival of spring when she provided a snow report for this weekend. “The pack is still above taco truck, but there’s been zero champagne in the past 48. I say send it. Then again, I always say send it.“⁣
