Ladd’s Addition resident Miranda LaFrentz was notably not out here getting loose on Tuesday. Instead she loafed around her apartment, completely in her feelings. She was tired from the weight of societal standards pushing down on her. Not even listening to her favorite recording artist and self-proclaimed “spirit animal,” Lizzo, could raise her spirits. ⁣

“Usually her songs are uplifting anthems that make me feel like the baddest bitch, but lately I have been feeling less sure of myself,” lamented LaFrentz. “I know that Lizzo is speaking directly to women exactly like me through her music, but lately I haven’t been feeling inspired.
