New Seasons Bouncer Says “You’re Not On The List”

Renee Jacobsen waited in line for nearly two hours last Sunday at the Tualatin New Seasons only to be told by the bouncer that she “wasn’t on the list” when she arrived at the front of the line.⁣⁣

“I was shocked,” she exclaimed. “Maybe it was because I left my New Yorker tote in my car. No, that can’t be it – they’re not allowing personal bags now. Maybe it was my clothing choice? The guy in front of me had a ‘This American Life’ shirt on, and the woman behind me was wearing overalls and Birkenstocks and had perfectly peppery gray hair despite clearly being in her early thirties. Maybe I should have bribed the bouncer with the promise of one of those five-dollar sumo citruses on the way out.” ⁣⁣
