Man At Concerts Assures Crew This ‘Pretty Good Spot’
Thursday night’s sold out The Head And The Heart concert at the Crystal Ballroom was packed full of fans ready to folk out to the band’s numerous placid indie jingles. Among the the fans was Stephen Troxley and his group of eight friends who had pregamed for too long and arrived just as the band was walking out to raucous applause. The packed crowed offered no clear points of entry, but Troxley was determined to find a good spot for him and his crew.
“Here, follow me,” he instructed as he made his way towards the left wall. “Usually you can get closer by going up the side until you find your chance to break in towards the center.” As his group snaked along the wall, holding hands so as to not get separated, Troxley saw someone leave the crowd and head towards the bar. “Now’s our chance. Charge!“
He attempted to pull his group of friends towards the empty space only to get stonewalled by two 6’5 men with ponytails. Pinned between them to the front and a small army of high schoolers to the back, Troxley and his crew were immobilized. Despite the fact that none of them could move and that they had become a huge problem for everyone around them, he announced that they had found “a pretty good spot.“
